Golden Star – The Best Sports Bar in Prague?

Do you love sports? No clue where to watch your local or national team game?

Located in the city center, only 3 minutes walk from Wenscelau Square, Zlata Hvezda or Golden Star in English, was the first sports bar in the Czech Republic (founded in 1993).

Hvezda has a wide option of screenings every single day of the week and all competitions have their own space – The English Premiership, Rugby, NFL, MLB, International Football Matches and of course the European Champions League! ;-)

More than a sports bar, even though is located in the city center, Hvezda also has great and affordable prices on the food menu.  We definitely love their hamburgers and well, the drink prices are a plus that you should consider on Mondays when the Czech beer costs only 16 Czech crowns for 0,5L :D

Back to the sports… Note that reservations are necessary for most of the big games, to do  it on-line, visit their website and make sure you arrive earlier to guarantee your place.
